A standard C-clamp alone will not work and can damage the mechanism. This does not work on vehicles with Electronic Parking Brake (EPB). Those require a scan tool for service mode or manual motor removal\/turning of the actuator shaft.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlways confirm by looking at the piston face: if it has two (or more) notches\/slots, it needs the wind-back method. Direction is usually clockwise, but verify on your specific vehicle. This should be made in the toughest material that is on hand, and usually thicker layer heights work better. Print with the notched, 45 degree angle on the bed as shown (no supports needed). This stops the layer lines from being parallel to the forces where it will simply shear apart at a layer line. From experience, one printed in Polycarbonate was able to break loose and complete the piston retraction on a very stuck piston.
