This is an aftermarket Build Plate / Print Bed, compatible with the following Markforged 3D Printers: Mark II, Onyx One, and Onyx Pro. These great printers are normally used to print Onyx (Carbon Fiber impregnated Nylon) material, with or without continuous fiber composites.

This plate is made from a sheet of high-pressure fiberglass laminate called Garolite. It is a yellow / green in color (color may vary slightly per run of material), semi-transparent, and has been tested to perform at least as well as the stock plate, for a fraction of the price. Since these beds are not flexible and not heated (requiring the use of glue sticks), the stock plate's surface can very easily get marred and cut over time since the parts are usually removed with a scraper. The stock plate cannot be re-surfaced, so after some use, the boards imperfections will show up on the prints. Our build plate can be refreshed as needed by simply lightly sanding with 220 grit. 

An added benefit of the lighter color of the board is having more of a color contrast with the filament material being laid onto the plate during the first few crucial initial layers, making the smallest amount of material left on the board visible.

This Build Plate is intended to be a direct replacement to the OEM part. Any time a plate is swapped, a manual bed leveling procedure must be performed, per the manual. Other than that, no changes are needed.
