Este es un soporte de motor sólido de Delrin (acetal) para el motor Toyota 1MZ-FE.
El montaje original que se muestra a continuación, como el de muchos vehículos, es hueco y apenas puede manejar los niveles de potencia de stock, y es propenso a fallar cuando las modificaciones de apoyo aumentan los números de potencia. Mucha gente endurece la montura llenándola con poliuretano. Si bien llenarlo ayuda, muchos han experimentado que la montura sigue fallando después de un tiempo. Con esta sólida montura, no solo la montura no fallará, sino que los cambios serán mucho más nítidos. Puede haber una pequeña cantidad de vibración adicional en un automóvil, pero al presionar el pedal del acelerador, el automóvil responde mucho mejor, ya que el motor no pierde tanto par en los soportes.
La montura se instala igual que la montura original. La instalación toma alrededor de 90 minutos, con tomas de piso, un juego de enchufes y una prensa para quitar el soporte viejo. El soporte no incluye el soporte de montaje, solo el reemplazo del inserto.

Delrin (Acetal) motor mounts, transmission mounts, and bushings are each machined from a solid blocks, and have either Stainless Steel or Aluminum bushings fit into the mounts to act as a point of contact for the connecting bolts when required. Delrin is an extremely strong and stiff plastic. It is commonly used in place of metal in applications where metal can not be used (magnetic, corrosion, or conducting / insulating reasons). These are much stiffer than polyurethane mounts, and it will not give or wear out. Delrin mounts should never need to be replaced, unlike the stock units which are usually considered a wear item.
Delrin mounts minimize the jumping or twisting of the motor under the hood. This movement is caused by the rotating mass of the crankshaft and transmission components. With stock mounts, the engine will twist itself in the engine bay when the throttle is opened, or during high-speed shifts. Over time, this force will destroy the stock rubber mounts. When this happens, the rubber may split or rip, allowing the engine to potentially move inches back and forth. This can destroy CV joints, other mounts, and create wheel-hop.
With our mounts, shifts will be much crisper. While pressing the gas pedal, a vehicle is much more responsive; as the motor does not lose as much torque twisting into the mounts.
At a price usually less than that of inferior stock mounts, these are not only a great performance item, but a bargain for each application.
